A really simple example of how Silverlight can be used to deliver data in a real world environment has just launched over at Weatherbug.

They are using Silverlight to provide dynamic live rendering of a number of historical weather indicators. It's a simple application but does a good job of communicating the data quickly and effectively. It's going to be interesting to see how they start to evolve this as the animation capabilities and performance of Silverlight become better known
